Power of One with Anthony Vozzella
Hello,
My name is Anthony Vozzella. I am thirteen and I am a student at Masconomet Middle School. and I am raising money for Boston Children’s Hospital for cancer research. This is for my schools project called Power of One. What is the Power of One you ask. It's one person trying to make a difference. I have saved all of my chore money this year and I am donating $300.00.
The reason I choose cancer research for children is very personal for me. I never met my grandmother, she passed away of pancreatic cancer before I was born. As my father and aunt speak of all the fond memories they had of her, I feel cheated. My grandfather was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. He has just finished radiation and is now in remission. As a family this has been an emotional roller coaster, that I wish no one would have to go through.
My grandparents lived their lives and I want to make sure that the children diagnosed with cancer get to live theirs. Would you please consider helping me to try to make a difference in the battle with pediatric cancer. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Untill Every Child is Well,
Anthony Vozzella
I am hosting a fundraiser, because I want to help Boston Children’s continue its amazing work for kids
- The hospital's patient care programs are remarkably sensitive to what sick and injured children and their families really need.
- Researchers regularly make amazing discoveries that change children's lives.
- Boston Children's welcomes kids whose families can't afford health care—more than any other hospital in Massachusetts.
- Community programs make a point of reaching out to help low-income and at-risk kids.
And the hospital doesn't just stop there. Boston Children's truly understands the importance of training the next generation of top pediatricians and nurses, so they can continue to provide the best, most innovative care possible to kids.
Please support my fundraiser—and Boston Children’s Hospital.
