In Memory of Hector
On December 27th, 2016 Jonathan & Vianca Repollet welcomed our baby Hector into this world. He was born at Boston Childrens Hosptal because during a pre-natal check up it was found that Hector suffered from a rare heart defect known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). Several days after birth he underwent the first of three scheduled surgeries on his tiny heart. While the surgery went well Hector struggled in other areas which included his kidneys & lungs. After a month and a half of fighting God called his little angel home.
We know that more reserch needs to be done on Congenital Heart Defects, so in memory of Hector's will to live with decided to start this fundraising page in hopes that other families can be spared the loss that we experienced.
I am also hosting a fundraiser, because I want to help Boston Children’s continue its amazing work for kids
- The hospital's patient care programs are remarkably sensitive to what sick and injured children and their families really need.
- Researchers regularly make amazing discoveries that change children's lives.
- Boston Children's welcomes kids whose families can't afford health care—more than any other hospital in Massachusetts.
- Community programs make a point of reaching out to help low-income and at-risk kids.
And the hospital doesn't just stop there. Boston Children's truly understands the importance of training the next generation of top pediatricians and nurses, so they can continue to provide the best, most innovative care possible to kids.
Please support my fundraiser—and Boston Children’s Hospital.
