I am once again participating in the Boston Children's Hospital Corporate Cup in July 2024 to raise funds for Boston Children's Hospital.
This is a cause that is near and dear to me as our son was born with digestive tract issues and needed to have surgery at two days old to have an ostomy bag applied, saving his life. It was a roller-coaster ride and Boston spent close to 6 months in the hospital off and on over the first year of life. I happy to report the Ostomy bag was reversed in May of 2023 and he is now living life like a normal little boy (Thank You Boston Children's).
Boston Children's Hospital made an extremely difficult time that much easier. Families come from all over the world to receive their care and find hope when there is none elsewhere. I never thought I would have a child with a birth defect and need their care and support, but who does?
