Why am I participating in Yoga Reaches Out? Because I don’t just work at Boston Children’s, I’m a Boston Children’s dad. So when I go to work, telling the story of how we’re working to be better, to do more for our patients and families, how to imagine new ways to tap into the wellspring of technology, science, and innovation that truly sets Boston Children’s apart, I’m not just telling the story of this hospital or the amazing people who work here — I’m telling the story of why our family still exists.
Every dollar I raise goes the hospital’s Every Child Fund, fueling breakthrough research, family support programs, and vital services to help patients heal and thrive. Your gift will:
- give children battling the most complex diseases treatments they can’t find anywhere else;
- help children in your town and those across the world get a second chance;
- fuel 3,600+ researchers working to find cures at the world’s leading pediatric research hospital;
- help patient-families (many of whom travel from far away to find answers) with urgent needs, including housing, food and clothing;
- bring crucial care to families through not one, but four outpatient psychiatry clinics;
- provide wellness services like Reiki, yoga and a safe place to simply exhale for families facing the stress of caring for a critically ill child;
