I'm participating in Yoga Reaches Out because I am passionate about helping kids and families at Boston Children’s Hospital. On April 28, I’ll join a community of more than 1,000 at the WIN Waste Field House for an inspirational day of yoga, music, and fundraising—all to bring lifesaving answers and hope to the sickest children from around the world.
This fundraiser is near to my heart. In January 2005, my four year old son was in respiratory arrest at home from a severe case of croup. He was kept alive by his father ( a paramedic) while we awaited medical help. Ultimately, he was medflighted to Boston Children's Hospital from Falmouth Hospital where the care he received saved his life. We are so grateful for all the support that our family was given during this terrifying time. My son, Paul, is now a healthy and strong 23 year old who is a Corporal in the USMC. He has also recently become a paramedic! We are forever grateful for the wonderful care our son received as a small child at Boston Children's Hospital and I am committed to supporting the work that they do to help children and families. I appreciate any and all support!
