Hi Friends - on April 26 I will be participating in a day-long yogathon to benefit Boston Children's Hospital and I would love your support.
Since Norah was born we seem to have an annual trip to Children's ER. And honestly, that's a blessing that we have only needed to be there 5 times in the last 6 years--especially with 4 kids! A hospital is a scary place for a lot of people, especially kids, and the dedicated folks that work at Children's just have a special way about them from the way they talk to kids to easing the parent's minds and providing phenomenal care.
Whenever we have left Children's we have counted our blessings that Norah was in there for minor things (a knocked out tooth, broken arm and stiches, to name a few). The one time she was admitted for a kidney infection was by far the scariest but they were able to identify the issue and promptly began treatment. We are so lucky to have Children's in our backyard and so very grateful that we haven't needed to be there for anything more serious (Jill I’m looking at you and Grady).
So I am asking for your support for those kids that are fighting for their lives. Your donation can help give these kids part of their childhood back by bringing some comfort and joy to them while they are in the hospital. Your donation also supports the largest pediatric research hospital in finding cures for the most complex cases and help save children everywhere.
Please help me with this great cause and support me in helping give strength to families coping with a sick child.
Thanks so much!
