Jacob was born with scimitar syndrome, a rare form of CHD, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, pulmonary vein stenosis, among other complications. He was inpatient at BCH for the first four months of his life. He had gone undergone three major surgeries and an endless number of tests and procedures. He is truly a warrior. He is a thriving, funny, and smart four year old thanks to the life saving care he received.
