Last year was Moon River Wellness Center's first year participating in Yoga Reaches out to raise money for Boston Children's Hospital. We made the top 10 fundraising teams, our team raised over $19,000 for children and families in need! This money fuels groundbreaking research, gives family support, and provides vital services not covered by insurance.
This year we are participating again, but it's a bit more personal for me this time around. I made some new friends in 2023; two amazing 4 year old twin boys, named Jackson and Henry. They are such bright lights and we have become fast friends. Last September Jackson was diagnosed with Leukemia and life quickly changed for him and his family. The next steps were getting the best treatment possible, which was at Boston Children's Hospital. Jackson and his family stayed at Boston Children's for 30 days straight as he underwent some intense procedures. Jackson will be in and out of treatment for then next 2 years.
So, I will be raising money for families like Jackson's that are spending all of their time and energy on getting their children well! Any amount of money donated helps. Thank you so much for your consideration.
